Author: Our client is a 365 bed primary acute care hospital serving the UAE military personnel and their dependents. A replacement hospital planned for a site near the International airport and the new facility if scheduled to open in about two years. Construction has not yet started. The Director of Medical Services which governs the medical services of the UAE Armed Forces is committed to elevating the clinical and quality standards for all its medical operations. The new Zayed Military Hospital will be accredited by the Joint Commission International. The hospital has satellite hospitals in Al Ain and Sharjah.
The hospital has a vacancy for a Chief of Orthopedic Surgery.
Base Salary to $295,890
The candidate should hold American or Canadian Board Certification of Facharzt or the Western European equivalent. Candidates must further hold a minimum of ten years post board experience in an acute or tertiary care hospital. In additional the candidate should have previous experience as Head of Department.
